Annual Street Food Drive

Having recognized a significant gap with regards to the food security of the children we support, every year, BSF takes on what we call a mobile street food drive. Through these food drives, we're able to address the immediate need of food among the vulnerable street children we support even as we look to working out a sustainable solution to their other urgencies such as that of housing. In February 2023, we were able to feed over 500 children in Nairobi CBD, Ngara and Eastleigh.  In February 2024, we're fed 1000 children in Nairobi and its environs. With the help of our dedicated team, we are able to move around and take this food to those that need it the most in select affected areas. This activity not only stretches the number of children we reach out to but also gives us an opportunity to explore other avenues of bringing smiles even as we help out the children we can  get off the streets using our already established contacts.
